First Day of 2012

Mom had a stack of food vouchers for the Singapore Food Trail and Singapore Flyer tickets so we decided impromptu to go for an outing on New Year's Day morning!

No one is afraid of heights so far...... The first one that got frightened... was Aidan!

An Evening Adventure

(It's not supposed to be so dark! - it's 'Polarize's fault!)

We took a walk on Tuesday evening. Instead of the usual route, we decided to go a bit further, venture out of our neighbourhood and ride towards Pandan Reservoir. It was a good workout for me, my legs were jelly after that 50 minutes outing - unfit & my back ached too after having to bend over to push Ammi's bike when she got tired on the way home - with her still on her bike!

Opps - Mom, a.k.a. kids' 'Popo', I know. Sorry. The kids should have worn their helmuts. I only remembered after seeing a cyclist to so.

Photos from a Sunday

We went to West Coast Park this evening.

Kids, literally hanging out, with their Daddy.

A touch of the sun and kites in the sky

Ally taking 1 extra nap while Anya stays awake to take in the sights.

Kisses from the sun and more kites in the sky

More similar scenes but without any Lomo effect

1 more shot with the Lomo effect - love those tints!

A Day at Henderson Waves Bridge

My parents work on weekends, except for public holidays. So, when National Day came, we got out of bed, changed everyone and sped off literally to join them for breakfast and a hiking trip with their friends.

We ended up driving up Mt Faber, and it was CROWDED at 9.30a.m.!

Most people were in sports attire, with water bottles, hats, sunglasses and umbrellas. When my Dad said 'let's go', I started to panick. How long do we have to walk and where to??

We ended up reaching the 1st part of the Henderson Wave Bridge. Worth the walk, and me perspiring profusely without a rubber-band to tie up my hair. The kids were the lucky ones who had their water bottles with them (Daddy carried them in the bag) and Ammi was doubly lucky because she refused to walk the moment we started hiking and she sat on everyone's arms as we took turn to carry her. Smart girl knows how to conserve her energy. Daddy ended up having to carry our 20kg son uphill for the last 200m on our way back!

Then it was to Sentosa, and everyone took the Luge even Ammi, with her oversized child helmut.
